IHN Friends and Supporters:
Simply saying thank you does not seem like it is enough. The sincere gratitude in which my staff and I have goes far beyond words. We truly appreciate the service work in which you all have provided to our community delivering evening meals to IHN’s guests each night. It’s a demonstration of how people can risk their own lives just to assist others. In times like these, seeing firsthand the love, help, and support that has been given is a reflection of what true humanity is. We truly value your commitment to helping the homeless.
However, your “helping” does not end there. Your helping rallied towards what it means to be a support to others whether you know them or not. It echoed to us all what it means to serve in any capacity. The work in which you have provided has not been unnoticed to us at IHN and it surely has not been disregarded by the GOD we serve. I encourage you all to continue to be an encouragement to others. You all are the strong force that we need, not only in these troubling times but in and at all times.
“GOD IS NOT UNJUST; HE WILL NOT FORGET YOUR WORK AND THE LOVE YOU HAVE SHOWN HIM AS YOU HAVE HELPED HIS PEOPLE AND CONTINUE TO HELP THEM” Hebrews 6:10
“WORK WILLINGLY AT WHATEVER YOU DO, AS THOUGH YOU WERE WORKING FOR THE LORD RATHER THAN FOR PEOPLE. REMEMBER THAT THE LORD WILL GIVE YOU AN INHERITANCE AS YOUR REWARD, AND THAT THE MASTER YOU ARE SERVING IS CHRIST” Colossians 3:23-24
“FEED THE HUNGRY, AND HELP THOSE IN TROUBLE. THEN YUOR LIGHT WILL SHINE OUT FROM THE DARKNESS, AND THE DARKNESS AROUND YOU WILL BE AS BRIGHT AS NOON” Isaiah 58:10
